The Bloomfield PTSA is one of the oldest parent-teacher organizations in Ontario County. It is affiliated with the NYS PTA and the National PTA. The PTA represents parents, teachers and students at state and national levels often the strongest voice in the state legislature representing children. Members of local PTA units, through the National PTA, can mobilize their great potential to influence Congress on important legislation.
The PTSA sponsors and supports many programs and events, including the Birthday Book Program, Family Flicks Night, Support Group for Parents of Children with Special Needs, Parent Workshops for Community Notifications, Internet Safety and Emergency Preparedness, School Pictures, National PTSA Reflections Program, Science Fair, Staff Appreciation Week and many, many more.
The Bloomfield PTSA serves as a resource for BCS, by assisting in the placement of parent members for influential committees such as the Elementary School Climate Action Team and the Shared Decision Making Team.
